AQUAVENTURE (ATLANTIS THE PALM)
Explore
a world of breathtaking water thrills at Aquaventure. Slide down the immense
Ziggurat and through a shark-infested lagoon, take a river ride of over two
kilometres, ride the water rapids and white water chargers. For a gentler experience,
younger visitors can plunge into Splashers, a water playground for kids. It all
adds up to a unique water adventure, with something new discovered at every
turn.
AL-NASR LEISURELAND This
is Dubai’s oldest theme park which opened in October 1979. It covers an area of
48 acres; it is a centre for sports and entertainment all under one roof. The
centre itself also caters for evening entertainment and is a regular meeting
point for locals and expats alike.
WILD WADI WATER-PARK
This water park is a themed water park based around the
friends of Sinbad. It covers an area of 12acres and has 23 aquatic rides to
suit all ages. In the park you will be able to float leisurely around a
seductive waterway or be blasted around a high powered thrill seeking water jet
ride and for the real thrill seekers Wild Wadi has the tallest and fastest free
fall waterslide outside of America. Situated between Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah
Beach Hotel in Dubai, it's just a 20-minute drive from the city centre. Get
there and go wild!
DREAMLAND AQUA PARK This park is approx 35minutes outside Dubai in an area called
Umm Al Quwain, it has over 25 thrilling water rides and is set in 250,000
square metres of lush green grounds. For the thrill seekers there are rides
such as the black hole, kamikaze and the amazing 4 twisting dragons. There are
a variety of restaurants and cafes and there is also a licensed pool bar. For
those of you who do not want to go home there is also a special overnight
camping facility and the park will provide a tent or a local cabana hut.
